Energy Management in boroughs
The seminar was organised by
Stowarzyszenie Gmin Polska Sieć “Energie Cités” in the framework of the RUSE international project co-financed by assistance resources of the INTERREG IIIC EU programme. The seminar on energy management was sponsored by Knauf Insulation.
The attendants had an opportunity to learn which projects are conducted in various boroughs of Małopolska and exchange their experience connected with using structural funds for meliorating energy efficiency in their own boroughs.
During the seminar, Jakub Szymański, manager of the Department of Regional and Spacial Policy at the Urząd Marszałkowski of the Małopolska Voivodship, discussed the rules of financing ventures in the field of energy usage during the next programming period. Andrzej Masny, manager of the Department of Environment and Rural Development at Urząd Marszałkowski of the Małopolska Voivodship, described the opportunities of gaining financial means from the Program for Development of Rural Areas for ventures in the field of renewable energy usage.
Jolanta Galon-Kozakiewicz, an expert from Wydział Ochrony Środowiska NFOŚiGW, presented the experience gained from Joint Implementation projects and project perspectives in the field of energy management in boroughs in the years 2007-2013. Moreover, during one part of the seminar, a representative of BGK and BOŚ banks talked on the rules of assigning subsidies and loans as well as the possibility to finance investments in public buildings in Poland. Zbigniew Michniowski, vice-president of Bielsko-Biała, presented a project of a new energy law while Edward Then, proxy of the president specialising in energy management, presented an integrated system of energy management in the framework of the Terrain Information System.
