Pitched Roofs – Rafter Level

Insulation at rafter level in a pitched roof can create a warm, modern living space. This enhances the value and desirability of the buildings without significantly altering the building envelope. 

High performance glasswool insulation at rafter level is vital for comfortable living and lower energy bills in houses and apartment buildings. Insulation prevents heat loss in winter and keeps buildings cooler in summer. The specification of high performance insulation is much more important in pitched roofs at rafter level than at ceiling level.
